IB’s ARM*Cloud solution involves the ib-ARM site being hosted by IB and clients access the site via the internet. The ib-ARM site is then administrated by IB staff.
This solution provides a lower cost of entry to the ib-ARM tool. The client does not need to provide a server to host the ib-ARM site and IB staff perform the ongoing site refreshes and administration.
The ARM*Cloud approach follows the standard ib-ARM approach, with the following key differences:
- Installation – onto an IB-hosted production server.
- Ongoing code extraction/collection – for each refresh, the source code must be extracted by the client staff and transferred to IB.
- Administration – administration is performed by IB staff. Refreshes are performed when requested to update ib-ARM content.
